OF FINANCIAL AID SINCE 2015

Our Contribution Locally

The Rotary Club of Burlington Lakeshore’s Community Services Committee contributes both funds and hands-on assistance to local groups and in individuals in need.  We look to help all areas affecting our community from literacy to food, clothing / furniture security, and mental health to personal care equipment and more.

Health Care

Support

In addition to helping on an as needed basis, RBL also participates in multi-year capital campaigns.  Some of those include:

The initial construction and the most recent expansion of The Carpenter Hospice.

The recent expansion to The Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital.

Food & Hunger

Support

Over the years, food bank usage is on the rise in Burlington.  This is partly due to precarious employment, lack of affordable housing, and most recently the COVID19 pandemic.  RBL provides assistance to multiple organizations with both financial assistance and volunteer hours.

Humanitarian

Support

Members of The Rotary Burlington Lakeshore are always there to lend a helping hand.  Whether we are helping build affordable housing or assembling a garden shed for ROCK, we are there with a smile and happy to help.
