Valarie Wafer is everywhere, spreading the word about ending polio.
As Co-Chair of Rotary International’s PolioPlus Committee, Valarie has been front and centre in keeping this cause in the public eye, especially leading up to World Polio Day on October 24.
We’re proud to call her one of our own at the Rotary Club of Burlington Lakeshore. Her work is a reminder that the push to end polio is still happening, and that Rotarians right here in Burlington are part of it.
