Duane Dahl is the Chief Executive Officer of BGC Hamilton-Halton (formerly known as Boys and Girls Clubs). Under his leadership, the organization has grown from a single Club in east Hamilton to more than 40 program sites located in the neighbourhoods where children and families need them most, including a recent expansion into Burlington.
Duane is an outdoor enthusiast and an outspoken advocate for positive child and youth development, asset-based community development, and supporting equity by providing targeted support for those who need them. In addition to his roles at BGC locally, Duane has worked with Search Institute, YWCA, and BGC Canada. And he was selected to sit on, and later chair, the Premier's Council on Youth here in Ontario.
